COVID-19 Update: We're Here to Help

To our clients, followers, and supporters,
Make A Change Canada continues to follow ongoing developments surrounding the COVID-19 outbreak. Our priority is ensuring the health and safety of our program participants, staff, their families, and the greater community.
As an entirely online organization we are here to reassure you that our programs and services will remain fully operational for the benefit of our clients. We are here for our program participants, and we will continue to provide career and skills training support as we do currently. We are accepting new program applications on an ongoing basis.
You might be worried about COVID-19 and how it could affect your life. We encourage our program participants to use this time as best you can to focus on your education and career goals, and take advantage of our online platforms. We are currently exploring new ways we can help support your participation during these difficult times, and we will be in direct contact with each of our program participants with further information. Please expect to hear from us within the next two weeks.
We continue to follow the latest guidance from the federal and provincial pubic health authorities.
We are asking all staff and program participants to help prevent the spread of illness by:
- Staying home if you are experiencing symptoms or feeling unwell
- Washing your hands often for at least 20 seconds and covering your mouth and nose with your arm when coughing or sneezing
- Practicing social distancing: avoid physical touch entirely, and keep some distance between yourself and other individuals as much as possible
- Following recommended protocols for self-isolation, if necessary
- Please remember to practice self-care and remain calm, and assured that this will pass
In these challenging times there are opportunities for support, respect, and empathy. We are a community, and we are all in this together.
