Chantal will begin this workshop with a discussion of the importance of assessing your skill set and your reasons for starting a business. This is the essential starting point in considering entrepreneurship as your career path. We will then delve into topic of market research, which is necessary in determining the viability of your business idea. You will learn how to set market research objectives, utilize various methods to carry out your research, and refine your business concept. Chantal will also take your questions. WOW SESSION! Module 3: Sales and Service

Tuesday, January 30 at 11:00 a.m. Pacific (2:00 p.m. Eastern)

This workshop will cover all areas of sales. Topics include identifying your customer, developing your sales pitch, overcoming customer objections, and excellence in customer service. Listening is the key to building trust. This helps you understand the behavioural styles of your potential customers and how to present your message to appeal to various customer groups. This session relates to Module 3 of the BA website. This session is for anyone who has a Facebook or Twitter account and has concerns about privacy, hacking, hoaxes, and other potential threats. Join Monica in this session to discover how much control you have on social media and to feel more comfortable keeping up to date with the latest news from your friends, family, and coworkers.
